Proper Villains Released A New EP: “Twenty-Four Seven/Kutumaini”

The two-track EP came out on March 16th via Psycho Disco!

Proper Villains is back, after three years of break, with a new EP, “Twenty-Four Seven/Kutumaini“, which came out on Psycho Disco! label on March 16th.

The New York based DJ and producer is known for his original releases and remixes including Cataracs‘ “Bass Down Low” that landed radio play on Power 106 and Hot 97. He has also been chosen to remix for Enrique Iglesias, Dev, Havana Brown, Pitbull, Lil Jon, Far East Movement, Roger Seventytwo and Childish Gambino.

The lead single “Twenty-Four Seven” fuses hip-hop fundamentals with a tribal-esque rhythm. The B-side, “Kutumaini,” Proper Villains delves deep into the house music trenches with a nearly seven-minute epic that reinforces the tribal undertones of the EP with a hypnotizing vocal loop, multi-layer percussion, and a sweltering synth melody.

The Music Ninja stated: “Together these tracks are a major welcome back from one hell of a producer that we’re looking forward to hearing more from this year. He’s not going missing again, so stay tuned.

Check the EP out now!
