One of the most important annual international music festival in the U.K. came back on June the 10th, this time celebrating in London! The festival took place in Finsbury Park and kept up with the expectations reuniting all its aficionados.

Our team attended the festival catching up different artists alongside the performances they hosted.

This was the first event under the Southport Weekender banner since 2015, when the team announced the end of the much-loved festival after 29 years. The London one-dayer curated 8 stages of music for their debut London festival, offering the very best in house, soul, disco, R&B and garage.

The biggest names in the global underground music world took part to the celebration, adding different shades to it, from d’n’b to techno, the festival displayed all kinds of electronic music from all over the world.

To deliver some of the most impressive sets of the weekend there were Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Kerri Chandler, Joey Negro and Tony Humphries, Culoe De Song, Deetron and Julie McKnightwho performed live.

This was Southport big return, celebrating the green-field festival’s 30th birthday, representing an uplifting addition to the UK party calendar.
