Bestival is a festival based in South England, at The Lulworth Estate, an enchanting, wooded country estate on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Its concept is similar to Glastonbury and Fuji Rock Festival, where festival-goers can camp at the location through the duration of the festival.
Now the South England-based event is expanding to Bali for a new adventure which will entertain the audience with eclectic music from around the world as well as offering immersive experiences.
Organizers have recently announced the inaugural line-up for Bestival Bali: it includes Alt-J, Rudimental (DJ set), De La Soul, Purity Ring, The Cuban Brothers, George Clinton‘s Parliament-Funkadelic and Bestival curator and artist Rob da Bank. The line-up also features local acts, like Ras Muhamad and Stars and Rabbit.
Rob da Bank says: “Well I can’t think of a better place in the world to do a new festival than Bali – a beautiful country, incredible culture, great music and don’t even get me started on the surf, history, nature and people… We are honored to be bringing Bestival to Bali and promise to deliver a sublime festival experience reflecting being on the Island Of Gods from funk pioneer George Clinton and hip hop royalty De La Soul to indie heroes alt-J and Purity Ring it’s gonna be the best!”
Bestival Bali will take place at the GWK Cultural Park, Bali, from September 30th to October 1st .
