The Red Bull Music Academy is a global music institution committed to fostering creativity in music. It celebrate music, its culture, and the transformative minds behind it.
Berlin hosted the very first RBMA in 1998, when it was founded. During these years, the Academy has touched down in many different cities like Tokyo, Paris, Melbourne, London and Barcelona.
So, next year the Academy will return to the city where it all started for its 20th anniversary, with its annual workshop for selected participants: around 60 participants among producers, singers, sound artists, DJs and musicians from around the world learn from and collaborate with top industry professionals.
RBMA is also launching a compilation of music recorded during its 2016 edition in Montreal called ‘Various Assets‘. It includes features from Suicideyear, Mike Banks, Mathew Jonson, Thundercat, Matias Aguayo and more.
