Internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Nina Kraviz has teamed up with Italian giant eyewear Ray-Ban to create a limited edition sunnies capsule collection.
The Techno star has re-invented the iconic 60’s cat-eye style from the Ray-Ban archives, available in two versions, an Eye Green edition and an Orange Safari edition.
Earlier this year, the famous Italian brand launched Ray-Ban Studios, a music initiative aimed at celebrating self-expression and individuality. The campaign’s first project was Feel Your Beat, which was first supported by Bronx-raised duo The Martinez Brothers, taking on the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer.
During a recent interview with Dazed, Kraviz explains, “The cat-eye hasn’t been produced by Ray-Ban for a long time, but I was adamant about our collaboration (using it), as that’s my favourite frame style.”
“Besides my limited capsule collection, from now on, all cat-eye frames Ray-Ban make will be named ‘Nina’ after me. I find this amazing!”
