Melodies International label run by Floating Points, DJ Love On The Run, Mafalda and Javybz announced his plan to re-release two rare records by Y. Gershovsky and Maurice Moore, providing edits from both Floating Points and Red Greg.
The two album, entitled ‘Disco Baby / Floating Points & Red Greg Edit‘ and ‘Everything That Shines Ain’t Gold‘, will be out on late July.
The first is Y. Gershovsky‘s 1979 record ‘Disco Baby‘. It will come on a 7-inch with a Red Greg and Floating Points edit on the B-side along with the original one on the A-side.
The second one is a 12-inch from Chicago artist Maurice Moore, ‘Everything That Shines Ain’t Gold‘. It includes both the original track from the original 1977 7-inch onto the A-side, and the edit version by Floating Points on the B-side, plus a 16-page zine.
