Maya Jane Coles has released a new EP of remixes taken from her sophomore album Take Flight.
Out now via I/AM/ME and Skint Records, the EP features 5 dark and atmospheric tracks.
On title track ‘Keep Me Warm‘, Maya teams up with Brighton based duo GAPS, interlacing “poignant and hypnotics vocals with her characteristic and compelling production.”
As to the remix, Londoner ABSOLUTE. delivers two energetic rave infused cuts, with his ‘1am Remix‘ of ‘Keep Me Warm’ available exclusively through Beatport.
The American songwriter Wendy Rae Fowler – who has previously collaborated with Queens of the Stone Age and most recently with UNKLE‘s Richard File We Fell to Earth project – lends her dusty and melancholy vocals alongside visceral guitar chords on ‘A Chemical Affair‘.
Last but non least, ‘Go on And Make It Through‘ provides assertive 4/4 beats that turn the track into a great summer anthem.
