Grammy season is right around the corner, with a dazzling list of dance nominations for its 2018 edition, including the legend of NYC House Music Louie Vega.

The New York DJ already boasts 9 nominations at the Grammy Awards (6 as a solo artist, and 3 with the Masters At Work duo), winning his first Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical with its version of Curtis Mayfield‘s Superfly in 2005.

This year the “Oscars” of music choose Vega for his Loleatta Holloway‘s ‘Can’t Let You Go’ mix, and nominated him in the Best Remixed Recording category.

The awards’ 60th edition is going on stage on January 28th at New York‘s Madison Square Garden.

Among the nominees we find the British duo CamelPhat for their very first Grammy Awards nomination as Best Dance Recording. Their track ‘Cola‘ gave them a huge success and a number one on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

The Best Dance/Electronic Album category features Bonobo’s ‘Migration‘, Kraftwerk’s ‘3-D The Catalogue’ and more. Past winners include Skrillex, Daft Punk and Flume.
