Life and Death – the label run by DJ Tennis – has just announced a new compilation series called ‘Displaced Soundtracks’.
According to the imprint, the new project “gathers music from a long-aborted film“, adding that it also encourages the producers “to display their hidden talents as composers“.
Featuring tracks by KiNK, Appleblim, Redshape, Simian Mobile Disco, Axel Boman, Danny Daze, Stimming and more, the first compilation presents a variety of music styles, ranging from ambient, library music, post-punk, and even gospel house. It will be released on November 3rd.
