Legendary UK trio Chase & Status will host a huge showcase for their highly anticipated forthcoming album RTRN II JUNGLE at Printworks London in November.

Set to take place in the Press Halls on Saturday 3rd November, the show will see the drum& bass legends joined by guest artists including My Nu Leng, Randall, Brockie, Benny L, Special Request, Preditah, Wookie, Chimpo and many more.

Inspired by both British music and fashion of the golden years of Jungle music from the mid-late 90’s and the trio’s recent trip to Jamaica, the new album marks fifteen years since the group started releasing music and touring the world. The project can also be described as much as an album as well as a cultural movement project whereby the old school roots and modern movements of Jungle music collide.

The news comes with a brand-new documentary from the trio, filmed in Jamaica earlier this year. Speaking on the visual, Saul states: “In May we spent a week in Kingston Jamaica, predominantly at Big Yard studio. We went there with Seani B to record tracks from our new album RTRN II JUNGLE. What we wanted to do was to create authentic, new, Jungle – and go to the source; where the culture and all the inspiration came from.

The announcement comes in the wake of the opening of Saul Milton’s second installation – Super Sharp Reloaded, at Selfridges, which once again explores the appropriation of Italian designer brands in the underground music scenes of Jungle and UK Garage. “The queue was the catwalk,” explains Saul. “Now is time to look forward to the future – we want to create and spearhead a new cultural movement.
