Aphex Twin has uploaded three new tracks to his online store, and added them to his 2001 album Drukqs. Two reworks of the UK producer ‘Avril 14th‘ have appeared alongside a new track called ‘Mangle 11‘.
The new song, ‘Mangle 11’, bears striking similarities to the AFX track ‘Mangle 11 [Circuit Bent V.I.P. Mix]’, which came out on a Rephlex compilation in 2003.
Produced in 2009, the two variations of the piano track ‘Avril 14th‘ include a ‘Reversed Music Not Audio‘ version and a ‘Half Speed Alternative Version‘. A third ‘Double Tempo Half Speed’ rework of the same cut was released and then removed from the online store on December 4th. You can listen to it below!
Earlier this year, Aphex Twin dropped the Collapse EP, which followed 2017 singles ‘Korg Funk 5‘ and ‘4xAtlantis take 1‘.
