Techno legend Richie Hawtin is set to play on June 29th at Berghain, renowned blub in Berlin, alongside Roi Perez, Panorama Bar resident.
It has been six years since he last played at the famed German capital’s venue. The Canadian artist and Berghain can’t claim to have always been in good relations, indeed Hawtin has been kicked out of the club back in 2009, which led the artist to write some words about the club on his Facebook page.
“U know what, BERGHEIM (sic) is a great club once you are inside, but why does the door policy have to be so fucking ridiculously hard. Come on guys, you have a great club but don’t act so egotistically cool. We would all love to play and work with y…ou, but you need a serious attitude adjustment!!! Good luck and remember those who have been supporting your scene before you even opened…….“
