Queen! in association with FKF (Frankie Knuckles Foundation) has announced the annual birthday celebration for the one and only Frankie Knuckles, with proceeds benefiting The Frankie Knuckles Foundation.
For Frankie! – A Celebration of His Life will be held on Sunday, January 20th at the two-in-one club Metro/Smartbar Chicago; Metro will play host to the likes of Derrick Carter, Michael Serafini and Garrett David, while Smartbar will feature the Grammy Award nominated Rosabel (Ralphi Rosario & Abel Aguilera), Chosen Few & FKF‘s Alan King and Zac Jones.

Also, as part of a multi-city celebration of Frankie’s birthday is A Tribute to Frankie Knuckles – The Official MAL Closing Night Party, presented by Centaur MC and The Saint At Large and featuring music by Frankie’s friends Tedd Patterson and Manny Ward, plus a special performance by Ultra Naté. The event will take place on Sunday, January 20th at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club 9:30 Club. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Frankie Knuckles Foundation.
