Coming October 13th via Brooklyn label Bastard Jazz, Miles Bonny will be releasing new EP, ‘Let It Out,’ a six-single project that is the brainchild of Bonny and produced by Ta-Ku.
On one side of ‘Let It Out‘ sits Miles Bonny, a long time musical collaborator who spent his youth immersed in New York’s busy indie-hip-hop scene. As he grew up Miles cemented himself a niche in the Midwest, most notably in Lawrence, Kansas where tireless forays into beat-making led to the founding of INnatesounds Crew and record label, as well as a series of solo releases and collaborative projects.
Eventually shifting his focus to his own vocal stylings, it wasn’t long before Miles caught the attention of the international music community, including R&B sensation Ta-Ku.
For our first glimpse into their collaborative effort, the ‘Let It Out‘ EP, Bonny has now revealed lead single “I’ll Be Here For You“. Opening with a trumpet line that sets the jazz influenced tone of the project, the track is a conglomerate of soulful vocals, boom bap rhythm, and organic instrumentation.
