Milano Music Week (MMW) is one of those many events, whose purpose is to get together all the people involved in music. A brand new music festival focusing mainly on new music, on new forms of it, a brand new platform where you can meet both young artists and new productions.
Taking place in Milan, the world’s capital of fashion and design, from November 20th to 26th, the first edition is curated by Schedule Manager and Creative Director Luca De Gennaro. The whole week will see special initiatives coming to happen in a large number: concerts, gigs, all-access hours with musicians, showcases and some big surprises.
But that’s not all! MMW is also hosting LineCheck Music Meeting and Festival, which is set to take place at BASE headquarters, in central via Tortona, from November 21st to 26th.
A music festival and meeting point for industry professionals, the third edition of LineCheck will present an extensive program of talks, showcases, conferences that “explore Italy’s music industry and its relationship with the global scene, featuring international players and the major protagonists of Italian industry.” Plus, live concerts and DJ sets.
The idea behind it is involving both the Milan-based and Italian entire chain of the music industry, from the rights-holders such as artists and managers, labels, producers, publishing and relative collecting societies, the media (magazines-radio- tv-cinema on and offline), as well as the live music sector.
Not only is an extraordinary platform and meeting place for the music industry but also a crucial hotspot where the music industry meets with local, national and international industries: fashion, design, lifestyle, advertising and brands in general, synchronization and applied music-clients, innovative technology.
