The new Dubfire documentary film called Above Ground Level is out NOW!
Above Ground Level tells the life and career of the Iranian-born artist, Ali Shirazinia (aka Dubfire), from the migration to the US at the age of seven due to the 1979 Iranian Revolution and subsequent Iran-Iraq war, going through his experience as half of the Grammy-nominated Deep Dish duo, until his current success as tecnho master.
Directed by Berlin designers Michael Koczynski and Mino Kodama, the 77-minute film was described in a press release as “a fascinating account of life behind the decks and the rigours of the intense traveling that goes with it“. Thoughts on the less glamorous side of DJ life were shared in interviews from fellow DJ stars like Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Loco Dice and Seth Troxler and more…
