The Chemical Brothers have unveiled a new song called ‘Free Yourself‘, marking their first original piece of music since 2016.

Last June the legendary English duo – composed of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – shared a cover of Tim Buckley’s ‘I Never Asked to Be Your Mountain’ with regular collaborator Beth Orton, while in 2015 they released their GRAMMY-nominated album, Born In the Echoes. The record featured collaborations with Beck, St. Vincent, Q-Tip, Cate Le Bon, Colin Stetson and more.

Branded ‘Hottest Record‘ by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, ‘Free Yourself‘ first premiered during the duo’s festival appearances across Europe this summer. Its release comes ahead of two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace on October 5th and 6th. You can grab tickets here.
