LCD Soundsystem returned to the music scene earlier this month with their ‘American Dream‘ LP. The 10 track LP, which is the band’s first record since 2010’s ‘This Is Happening‘, will be also accompanied by a world tour.
Now, according to Exclaim, the LP has a hidden message on the D-side that reads “SEE U IN 5 YEARS”, which refers to the band’s five-year hiatus they interrupted last year.
This type of hidden messages in music is nothing new. Examples are the D-side of Daft Punk‘s ‘Random Access Memories‘ vinyl release that reads “IF LOVE IS THE ANSWER YOU’RE HOME“, while Radiohead’s recent ‘OKNOTOK‘ boxset included a cassette with 1980s ZX Spectrum computer code.
