UK producer and Tropical Velvet label boss KORT (real name Ben Webb) has shared details of his new single called ‘Here & Now‘.
Set for release on July 20th via Tropical Velvet, the forthcoming EP includes 4 brilliant disco cuts. The title track, which features the uplifting soulful voice of Sejal, is a pure summer anthem recorded with live instruments and full of explosive horns, dynamic guitars strings and a catchy funky bass. The Dub mix is a kick-heavier dance-floor arrangement pushing the party vibe, while Angelo Ferreri takes “a sparser approach constructing his remix around a filtered synth-hook over which he floats segments of the vocal and punctuates with horn and string stabs to great effect,” a press release reads.
“I’m really proud of this record as its 90% live and has been a real labour of love to make which I hope you can hear in the result of the song… It’s definitely my personal favourite work to date!” KORT says.
