Kerri Chandler is back on Watergate Records with his new single called ‘Checkmate‘.
The deep house DJ and producer is returning to the Berlin label after mixing ‘Watergate 15‘ and releasing ‘The Watergate Files‘ back in 2014. His second single this year features Dutch techno innovator Steve Rachmad and the Berlin-based DJ, producer and Watergate resident Cinthie.
Also, ‘She’s Crazy‘ by Grampa, a 1993 12 inch released via Abigail Adam‘s Movin’ Records, is getting a reissue: Grampa was a project involving Chandler, his production collaborator Yahya McDougald and his grandfather Calvin Reed Sr., who provided vocals. The reissue will be available on August 25th.
Chandler has also received a nomination for Best House DJ this year by Ibiza’s DJ awards.
