Instytut Unveiled ‘Let’s Plant a Techno Forest’ Brand New Event

This unique experience will take place in Stefanów on September 8th.

Instytut has announced a new unique event this year, the Let’s Plant a Techno Forest, taking place on September 8th in Stefanów, marking the first Techno Forest in Poland and in the world.

During the day, the organization will plant trees with the sounds of techno music, and in the evening there will be the actual rave. Over the next few days full line-up and maps of the area will be revealed.

We go back to the roots and season them with techno. A spontaneous getaway with friends where the noise of the city is just a memory. During the day we plant trees, at night we dance. The idea that guides us is very simple: we provide a beautiful area in Stefanów (Łódź province) in the valley of five ponds and the immediate vicinity of the Pilica river. Everyone has the opportunity to pitch a tent and use a common space to prepare food and at night we provide access to the bar, the best music and space for dancing. Everything in the spirit of 100% eco. You will not find plastic cutlery or chemicals here. We’re back to nature!” wrote Instytut about this initiative.

Instytut has been promoting rave parties in Poland for almost 2 decades, starting from the legendary raves at The Institute of Power Engineering up to Instytut Festival, which debuted this summer and hosted the likes of Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Kobosil and Oscar Mulero.

Admission to the event is free, but to join our project, you must buy a tree seedling available on-site for a symbolic fee.
