Last week, iconic producer Moby announced to sell 200 drum machines from his own private collection for charity via the online gear and record marketplace Reverb.
All proceeds from the sale, which starts today, Thursday 11th October, will be donated to The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Now Reverb has posted a 15-minute documentary about the history of the drum machine, titled ‘Electric Rhythm: The History of the Drum Machine‘.
Featuring many machines from Moby’s personal collection, the documentary hosted by William Kurk delves deep into the history of the instrument of these powerful instruments. Watch it below!
