There’s a new Mika Vainio album on the way.
The Pan Sonic co-founder died earlier this year, but at the time of his death, Vainio‘s official website listed two records that had yet to be announced: one called Reat and the other Tectonic Plate (the latter on Ideal Recordings), that had yet to be announced.
Reat is an eight-track LP that aim to relaunch the German label Elektro Music Department. The label says that Reat sees Vainio “in full action,” embracing “beats, experimental and/or hardcore.”
