A new club has opened in central Geelong, Australia. The venue? A disused underground fast food joint!

Bloom (this the name of the nightclub), has a capacity of over 500 guests and it’s located an hour’s drive away from Melbourne.

Since the early 2000s that antiquated McDonald’s has been turned into various nightclubs. Some people might remember it as Club 4Play, which peaked in the late 2000s.

Bloom’s music co-director Adam Metwally stated:“The vision for the club is to provide an outlet for underground music, developing the scene in what is effectively a small country town. We set ourselves apart through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality above all else.”

The club will include Funktion-One sound in the three rooms, a minimalist design aesthetic and exceptional artists each weekend.

Among the artists that played since its launch in January there are: Alex Stein, Patrice Bäumel, Tube & Berger, Josh Butler and DJ Seinfeld.
