Seth Troxler has shared details of a retrospective EP entitled ‘Finally Physical‘.

Scheduled for April 27th via Troxler’s Play It Say It label, the upcoming EP consists of older tracks released between 2006 and 2010; to be more precise, two originals and two remixes, one of which comes under Seth’s lesser used alias, Thrill Cosby.

Three of the 12-inch’s four tracks were previously available only on mix CDs or digital format.

Up first is track “Blackclap“, a “twisted techno bumber” which first surfaced on Audion‘s 2006 fabric mix, whilst “Aggression” is a late-night cut “with minimal drums and alien lifeforms scurrying all over.

On the flip is a Thrill Cosby remix of Heartthrob‘s “Signs” which the American DJ and producer included on his ‘Boogybytes‘ mix from 2010. “A pressure cooker of white noise, whispers, synth drones and tension building sequences it eventually breaks into a supple and slippery groove” that you can’t help but dance.

Last but not least is the techno funk of Stefan Tretau‘s “Chittagong” (Seth Troxler Jack Moves Remix), which is described as a “synthetic and abstract [track], with watery droplets and coarse claps wrapping round the restless drum line.

Finally Physical EP‘ will serve as a teaser for an already announced compilation, ‘This Is Then, which will celebrate the American artist’s 10 years as a major force in the Europe underground scene.
