The Grammy Awards 2017 aired live from Los Angeles on February the 12th.
For the category Best Dance-Electronic Album the candidates were: Skin (Flume), Electronica 1: The Time Machine (Jean-Michel Jarre), Epoch (Tycho), Barbara Barbara We Face a Shining Future (Underworld) and Louie Vega Starring…XXVIII (Louie Vega).

Louie Vega was also one of the favourites. He won a Grammy already in 2006, in the category Best Remixed recording, Non-Classical, with his remix of Curtis Mayfield’s “Superfly”. In this category there were other huge winners such as Frankie Knukles (1998), David Morales (1999), Deep Dish (2012) and Roger Sanchez (2003).
Louie Vega’s candidate album was launched on February 26th 2016.
