After announcing German house/techno artist and Pampa Records label boss, DJ Koze will headline the debut party of Melbourne’s new venue B3, local promoter Novel has unveiled the location of the venue alongside the rest of the international line-up.

The 5000-capacity site will be located at the underground car park of Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium, a huge cavernous space that is set to enhance Melbourne’s nightlife.

When we initially looked for new spaces we really wanted something that has never been used before, a large and unique venue to host high quality acts which is located right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. The B3 underground carpark of Etihad Stadium ticked all the boxes and is simply amazing. We cannot wait to turn that space into something that punters will never forget,” explains Novel Director Daniel Teuma.

He then adds: “It is important for us to deliver a new experience to our patrons, and with this venue we have no doubt that we can deliver just that. Preparations are already underway to see how we can visually enhance the space’s concrete facade, and on the night there will be interactive installations, art installations, and of course, Funktion-One sound.

Returning to Australia for the first time in over 4 years, DJ Koze will be joined by Belgian techno DJ and producer Charlotte De Witte and German DJ, producer and label owner Gerd Janson.
