South African producer and DJ Culoe De Song has just dropped a new mix album titled ‘BLACK’.
Out now, the 12-track mix set features three originals from the House icon – “Myth“, “Rambo” and “Stig Boardersman” – his remix of Maya Jane Coles‘ “Won’t Let You Down” and a couple of tunes from the likes of Da Capo, Mr. Joe, Doc Daneeka, and more.
The new album has been released just ahead of the annual BLACK NYC showcase which takes place on March 31st at an undisclosed location in New York City .
On BLACK 2018, curators MATTE Projects said they “hope to create further disruption, alter perceptions, and ignite inspiration with the carefully thought our music and visual programming we’ve selected. Our guests will be submerged in the darkness and explore with their senses an altered world filled with Imagined and unimagined forms – art and music will combine once again in our own unique way.”
DJ Hell, Gaika, Barnt, Veronica Vasicka, Jubilee, NoLife and Masha are all confirmed to perform at the highly anticipated event headlined by Culoe De Song and Dixon. You can purchase tickets to ‘MATTE presents BLACK NYC‘ here.
