The Croatian festival’s 2017 edition will run from July 27th through 31st at The Garden Tisno.
Reaching its 9th year this summer, Soundwave returns to the beautiful and enchanting Garden Tisno, a mesmerising piece of paradise hidden along the Dalmatian coastline. Sound-tracked by the some of the world’s finest exponents of broken beat, reggae, afro to acid jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, drum and bass and more, the festival is a harmonious and beatific odyssey which seamlessly merges a sublime holiday and musical escape like no other.
Indicative of the long-running event’s ambition, Soundwave has curated its most inspired lineup ever, including genre-leading live bands, iconic artists of immense repute, scene-defining DJs and some of the new generation of talent bursting through the ether. As one of the region’s most revered and established festivals, it is not resting on even one laurel, with Soundwave’s heart beating around musical exploration in an odyssey of the known and the unexpected.
Just announced for Croatia are Laura Mvula, The Pharcyde, Roni Size, Sadar Bahar, Moses Boyd, Alexander Nut, Mr Thing, Mall Grab, Medlar, Chaos In The CBD, Ross From Friends, Contours, Anchorsong and many more.
They join the already announced Roy Ayers, Gilles Peterson, Go Go Penguin, Yussef Kamaal, Egyptian Lover, Josey Rebelle, Horse Meat Disco, MNDSGN and Donna Leake and more.
