Symbol Audio has revealed the Modern Record Player, a brand new integrated turntable designed to combine a classic aesthetic with contemporary connectivity.

The Modern Record Player is inspired to Dieter Rams’ iconic Braun SK55, renowned for replacing the typically heavy, wooden record player cabinets with a clear plastic finish. The turntable offers an acrylic platter floating upon a three-phase isolation system engineered to prevent the vibrations. It’s fully wi-fi compatible, features an integrated AB amplifier and speaker system designed by Morel.
The Modern Record Player is available in black or white, starting at $3.295, with the steel floor-stand costing an additional $500.
