Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival continues to announce live musical performances: there will be showcase events at three unique locations: inside a glacier, down a lava tunnel and on a midnight boat cruise.
Taking place during the surreal summer solstice, the festival that takes place in Reykjavík has firmly established itself “on the bucket list for every true festival-geek wanting to be a part of this truly unique experience“.
During the last few years, Secret Solstice has delivered live concerts inside a glacier as well as a volcano. Now they add a lava tunnel as an exclusive location.
The event series called ‘Into The Glacier‘ will take place inside Iceland’s second largest glacier, Langjökull, and will consist of three parties. Among the artists that will perform live: rising Icelandic producer BAYA, UK’s versatile DJ and producer Artwork, Ministry of Sound, Dusky, Thugfucker, Anderson .Paak and Blaz Roca.
Also taking place outside the festival are ‘The Lava Tunnel‘ events located inside Raufarholshellir, a 5,000 year old lava tunnel outside Reykjavík. Helgi Björnsson, Ása, Högni and Snorri Helga are among those who will share their sounds at these events.
Plus, Maxxi Soundsystem and Harriman will perform on the ‘Midnight Sun Boat Party‘.
