Lobster Theremin head Jimmy Asquith has launched a white label record series to release his own music under his own name.
Having previously released under aliases as Tom Hang and Chicago Flotation Device, the UK DJ and producer has also shared the first EP under his own name, ASQ001.
Set for release on August 3rd via his new imprint, the EP dips into a garage house sound, showing how Asquith is moving away from his usual aliases’ style. It features two versions of ‘The Conditioning Track‘; a ‘NYC Mix‘ on the A-side and a ‘North London Mix‘ on the flip. “With the Lobster Theremin boss having flexed his production muscle on previous releases as Tom Hang and Chicago Flotation Device, this sees the seasoned British talent step out from behind the veil and lay down a seriously stomping bassline-driven garage-house A-side backed by a summery terrace-slaying mix of the aptly titled The Conditioning Track,” a press release reads.
