Australian DJ and producer Kaz James has released a new EP titled Animal.
Following his recent atmospheric remix of fellow Australian What So Not’s “Beautiful” featuring Winona Oak, the 8-minute track displays Kaz’s multi-faceted production talents. “With a stirring breakdown following a range of structured keyboard-based notes, the melody soon gives way to a wealth of claps and fluttering synths,” a press release reads.
Over the years, Kaz has recorded alongside top names such as DJ Tennis and Guy Gerber, becoming a regular at the latter’s RUMORS events.
Recently, the Melbourne native producer indeed played the RUMORS Coachella after-party and will be joining the event brand for their Ibiza residency with further dates confirmed at Black Coffee’s and Housekeeping’s residencies at Hï Ibiza, as well as dates in Tel Aviv, Los Angeles and Mexico. He will be also playing at Scorpios Mykonos every Sunday for his third weekly residency, where he will be headlining alongside surprise guests until October.
