Jeff Mills and his music label Axis Records have come out with a unique vinyl stabilizer manufactured from high-density metals.
The design is plain and simple, coloured gold with the Axis Records logo and laser engravings which resemble the solar system. The vinyl apparatus comes in limited-edition, with a number of only 100 units.
In few words we could say that the device allows users to produce a cleaner sound by increasing “the tightness of the high and low frequencies”. Mills explains how the the vinyl stabilizer “helps eliminate unwanted vibration” on your records and “temporarily levels imperfect vinyl that may have been warped or curved”.
The launch date hasn’t been announced yet. We can only enjoy this prototype while waiting for the vinyl stabilizer to come out via Axis Records’ website.
