Iggy Pop and Underworld have shared the third track from their upcoming EP, ‘Teatime Dub Encounters’, due out on July 27th.
The song, titled ‘Get Your Shirt‘, is available online now. it is best described by Underworld as “a lament to bad decisions, regrettable rips-offs, presidential flirts and unlovable jerks“.
Underworld’s slick, low-end production and Iggy’s emphatic, instantly iconic vocal has created an interesting trippy electronic track.
The dance giants met with the punk pioneer two years ago, invited to discuss writing something for the soundtrack of T2, the sequel of Trainspotting.
