Hercules & Love Affair have announced the release of their fourth album, entitled ‘Omnion‘, on September 1st.
The new LP from the dance music project created by American DJ Andy Butler in 2008 will come out on Butler’s MR.INTL imprint in partnership with Skint and BMG.
It features The Horrors’ Faris Badwan, NYC singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten, Lebanese indie band Mashrou’ Leila and regular collaborators Rouge Mary and Gustaph.
“Sometimes songs are born out of an intense moment that has nothing to do with club music,” explains Butler.
And he continues: “…I’m not just a “head” (read techno-head, house-head, disco-head)….I’m touched just as much by, say, Sinead O’Connor accompanied only by a guitar, singing an intensely spirited message.”
