Gamma Festival has announced its professional international forum, Gamma_PRO.

Participants of the forum will be key representatives of international and Russian festivals related to electronic music and contemporary art, as well as leading international cultural institutions known for their approach to art and technology. The main theme of this year is ‘Global Festival Movement‘.

Set to be held on July 20th and 21st, Gamma_PRO will feature discussion panels, artist-talks and professional networking created for the purpose of sharing experiences and interacting with the international professional community.

The headliner of the first day of the forum is MUTEK, the largest audio-visual festival of the world, which will be represented for the first time in Russia by the founder, artistic director and ideologist Alain Mongeau, while the headliners of the musical part are 3 impressive audiovisual acts:

Loscil AV live (Canada)
Push One Stop + Deadbeat AV live (Canada)
Maotik + Nicolas Melmann AV live (France / Argentina)

In addition to Gamma_PRO, the Russian festival has also announced the return of the experimental project Artification.

Launched in 2017, Artification is an international experimental platform aimed to integrate modern media into the cultural landscape of the city and to develop the existing potential through the search for new names and talents that will be provided with the necessary resources for the implementation of personal art projects. The subject of the new season will be ‘Adaptation‘.
