Matias Aguayo‘s band, The Desdemonas, is launching a new album in October.
First revealed back in 2016, The Desdemonas are inspired by the music the Chilean artist loved as a teenager. Through lyrics, cartoons and music videos the band tells the story of a group of kids living in a dystopian world.
Their first album, Sofarnopolis, will land in October via Crammed Discs, and while there’s no tracklist yet, you can check out first single “Nervous,” which is about a “nightly encounter with a girl floating in purple light and glowing in the dark.”
