The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest club festival and the most important business conference for electronic music, has finally completed its 2017 program.

This 22nd edition will feature 2500 performers, an all-time record number, and 550 speakers in over 160 locations around Amsterdam, between the 18th and the 22nd of October.

ADE, an initiative of Buma, has grown rapidly in recent years. In 2016, the event hosted over 2,200 artists and 550 speakers in 140 locations. In addition to the growth of the extensive night program, the festival is also focused on the further expansion of its daytime and early evening activities. In this regard, the organisers have added technology conference ADE Tech and the ADE Hangover to its daytime activities.

ADE Director Richard Zijlma is looking forward to the future: “The global electronic music scene is growing enormously, especially through various crossovers with other styles like classical, jazz and hip hop. During ADE, all these styles come together for five days all over Amsterdam, making the city a breeding ground for cultural and technological innovation. It’s great to see that more and more professionals and music lovers from The Netherlands and abroad find their way to Amsterdam.

The latest additions to the festival program include a special concert by Philip Glass and the ADE Hangover plus Dekmantel Soundsystem, Ellen Alien, Kriss Kross Amsterdam, Lefto, Philip Glass , Shanti Celeste and Sterac aka Steve Rachmand.

As well as being an event to see the best DJ’s from all over the world in some of the coolest venues the ADE day program covers everything from music, art, gear, tech, film, talks, pop-up and conference and networking program. Speakers include; Boys Noize, Gary Numan, Hardwell, Irvine Welsh, Jorsi Voorn, Kenny Dope, Kiasmos, Modeselektor, Nadya Tolokonnikova, NIna Kraviz, Oliver Heldens, Philip Glass, Shelly Finkel, Soullwax, Riga and many more.
