Danish headphone makers AIAIAI are launching a new wireless headband for their wonderful TMA-2 Modular Headphone System.

The H05 is the first major upgrade to the system, and it is no doubt influenced by Apple’s recent decision to get rid of the headphone jack on the iPhone 7.

The band integrates Bluetooth technology to enable high quality wireless audio transmissions. It will of course work with any existing parts of the TMA-2, allowing users to upgrade if they so choose and therefore retaining full modularity in the system. It will offer 16-hours of playback on a 2-hour charge and comes with play, pause, skip, volume, and answer call controls.

The addition of a battery unit to the headband does not impede AIAIAI’s sleek minimalist design. As you can see below, the TMA-2 looks as beautiful as ever with the H05 included.

If you want to get in early on a wireless headband or even order a completely new headphone set-up you can back AIAIAI’s project over on Kickstarter with highly discounted deals available as rewards.
